Today I find myself reflecting back on finding my parents little mementos within my Mom's personal folders. A personalized cocktail napkin from 1954 with my parents name and wedding date on it with a lily of the valley design above the names and date. A simple thing but such a nice remembrance from the land of use to be!
My parents cocktail size napkin was just a plain white napkin with a simple imprint and design. Today bride and grooms have the option of many ink colors, designs and napkins in vibrant colors too. Personalized napkins are little keepsakes that each guests has the option of taking home for a remembrance of a wedding day special moment spent with friends and family.
Often times little mementos are placed in wedding shadow boxes and kept by the bride and groom. A shadow box also is a nice thought for the parents of the bride and groom too.
